╳Art Direction + Graphic Design for BLUE LIGHT - Silvestre Pestana exhibition at Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre (TMBD, Funchal-Madeira).
Over the last five decades, Silvestre Pestana (1949 Funchal - Madeira) has built up a singular body of work as a visual artist and performer. Associated with a group of experimental poets in Portugal in the 1960s, Pestana went on to become a pioneer of new forms of art that presciently addressed the connections between language, the body and technology.
His highly original and poetic works in diverse media tell us that the inalienability of the ephemeral experience is of central and ethical importance. These graphic pieces/exhibition communication aims to replicate this intense impermanence.
